Back To The Beginning
Calgary AB, Canada, 2025
Within the next few years, Glendale & Glendale Meadows Community Association will begin renovations on their outdoor spaces. Some of these developments will be to increase native species and bring the ecosystem back to what it used to be. Once the project concludes, this mural will be a whimsical reflection of the native flowers scattered throughout the park. These species include prairie crocus, shooting stars, bunchberry, blanket flower, harebells, and purple cone flower. This mural will encourage community members to take a closer look at the flower beds in awe and appreciation.
Commissioned by Glendale & Glendale Meadows Community Association to paint a mural on the outside of their community association.
Our community association worked with Jessica to design and paint a large exterior wall mural on the side of our community building. The result is phenomenal and it’s hard to imagine the space without the mural in place which is a testament to the suitability and quality of the result. Jessica was easy to work with through the process and was especially a great partner when it came to engaging with community members about design elements as well as working with art camp students during the actual installation to help teach them about the mural process. Jessica also encouraged us to be aware of more environmentally friendly paint products. We would happily work with Jessica again on a mural project. — Myles T., President, Glendale & Glendale Meadows Community Association
